I am speechless. But can't say I am surprised. This is what happens when you have Islam rooted within your culture, with laws that enforce burqas on every female. This is what happens when you suppress the most natural element in the universe, human sexuality. Sexually frustrated men who are not even able to see a female form will seek it out elsewhere. In this case, young boys dressed in female clothing. This practice of Bacha bazi is mind boggling. Homosexuality, sex slavery, pedophelia, and murder; all of these things are happening in Afghanistan, of all places.

Some of the parts of the movie brought me back to my childhood. When I saw those mountains towards the end, it reminded me of my country where I was growing up. The mountains looked just like the ones I've visited, since our countries are practically neighbors. I had a memory flash back for a moment to when I almost got abducted. We were at the last bus stop, and I got far enough away from my mom sitting around other people on the benches. As I went around this huge bus, 2 men surrounded me. They blocked the only exit in between buses all around. As I looked at one of the men, he had his eyes on me like I'm his prey. That's when I screamed, and luckily my mom came out and they scattered. I could have been kidnapped, raped, and murdered afterwards. What a crazy world this is. In the places where homophobia is at its peak, and gays get murdered in cold blood, illegal sex trade is still going on, and men with money and power run things like there is no tomorrow.

Honor Diaries - MOVIE REVIEW

This was not what I expected. The trailer looked so promising, but so many things are left unanswered.

There was this one part where they are discussing female genitalia mutilation. And they say how it is practiced across many African countries. It was one of the sickest things I have seen, and it was really hard to watch. But why do they practice it? Does it have anything to do with Islam? If not, what does it have to do with? What is its origin? The people behind making this documentary needed to do more homework before releasing this film.

Also one thing that I did not understand. There are all these women talking about the cruelties and atrocities that are done in the name of Islam. But... many of them are muslim. One lady is a suni muslim and her husband is a shii. But she is there sitting talking about how cruel it is to live under Islam. Really confused me. What made me even more turned off by this film was this one American muslim woman. I think she even used the word "racist" to describe people who dislike Islam. WTF!? Why do muslims do this? But what really put me off is that she is here discussing about these issues of women getting forced to wear burkas, hijabs, niqabs, and this bitch is wearing a hijab herself VOLUNTARILY talking about "what Islam means to me", describing all the good things.

Seemed to me that half these women were clueless on the root of the problem that surrounds the issues they are trying to tackle. On one hand, they complain about the mistreatment of women in Islam, but on the other, they are muslim. That's like complaining about Nazis mistreating Jews, while being a Nazi. I don't get it, and neither do they on what they are doing, at least long term. Talking about these issues is one thing, but tackling them while not realizing that the problem lies within the religion you follow is like not seeing forest for the trees.

Seeing this makes me really not Like Cops

What are these Police Officers accomplishing by preying on the weak?

I totally identify with this kid. He has issues, a total loner with no friends, and no one to even talk to. Now here comes an undercover cop pretending to be his friend. Starts begging him for drugs. The kid is like 'oh man... I actually have a friend!? I will do anything to keep him'. Goes out and does something he would never do, and gets busted. WTF is this shit? I gotta say, I had a teacher from the South Bronx in my Criminal Justice classes back in college. And he said this about cops after being one for 30 years of his life. "Cops are NOT your friends! If you get arrested, DON'T TALK TO THEM! Know your rights and get a lawyer. Until you do, DO NOT TALK TO POLICE." Boy was he right. Cops could be the biggest criminals just to get you busted, and have them look good on record. If they need to bust someone and blame him with a crime, they will pick you in a heartbeat if you are dumb enough to give up your rights and talk with them.

I gotta say, though. The federal government today reminds me of the Europeans who colonized Americas. They had their own beliefs, and anyone with different ways of life were wiped out off the face of the earth. The federal government still looks at people who smoke marijuana as scum. It's like they still do to people what the Europeans were doing to the natives of this land back in the day. "Accept our god, or die." They still ruin peoples lives today. And this is just one tiny little case. Imagine how much damage they do to people on the grand scale.

Blackfish MOVIE REVIEW

First of all, I would like to say.... FUCK SEAWORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe that I visited them in San Diego as a kid. You know what this documentary reminds me of? My job. A lot of people behind management don't give a fuck about anyone!!! Their only concern is to hit their quota and they could care less about 'the little people' aka us, the workers who directly deal with the customers. They make any change they want, and could care less what we think, or say. The same sort of thing is happening with these large greedy pieces of shit corporations that suck the life out of Killer Whales, or other animals across zoos, and circuses. And then they make excuses when one of these animals takes down a trainer.

BOYCOT THIS SORRY EXCUSE OF AN ENTERTAINMENT! DO NOT VISIT SEAWORLD EVER AGAIN. BECAUSE IF YOU DO, KNOW THAT YOU SUPPORT THE CAPTURE AND THE SLAVERY OF ANIMALS. THESE ANIMALS ARE KEPT IN EXTREMELY SMALL PLACES, MANY OF WHICH COME FROM DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE WORLD, DIFFERENT PARTS OF THEIR CULTURES, WITH DIFFERENT LANGUAGES AND DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES.

FUCK YOU SEAWORLD! I WILL NEVER PAY YOU A FUCKING PENNY OUT OF MY POCKET AS LONG AS I LIVE. YOU ARE NO BETTER THAN THE PEOPLE WHO IMPRISON LIONS, TIGERS, LEOPARDS, AND OTHER WILD, EXOTIC ANIMALS ALL ACROSS THE ZOOS THAT ARE KEPT IN SMALL CAGES ALL THEIR LIVES. EVERYBODY NEEDS TO SEE THIS FILM, SO THAT PEOPLE START BOYCOTTING THESE GIANT GREEDY PLACES OF SLAVERY.

Reincarnated with Snoop Lion MOVIE REVIEW

When I first heard about Snoop Dogg changing his name to Snoop Lion, my first reaction was to judge, as I'm sure most people out there thought the same. But then after viewing Reincarnated, I found a whole new respect for Snoop. I remember watching a short clip on youtube once, of a MTF Body builder. At first I thought it was a female body builder, as they all look manly and masculine, but then learned it was a transsexual. I don't remember her name, but at some point her quote appeared on screen, "life is all about transition." And that is the TRUTH!!! In order for an individual to evolve and grow, he must change into what he wants to become. And if going through a lot of hell, chaos, and negative experiences, then so be it. Many people stay stagnant and never change, but they are miserable inside wishing they had something more; or maybe they are just 'normal', and like being that way. But I am too far from being normal.

Snoop was talking to one of the Rastafarian, I think Bob Marley's brother. I don't remember; I was high as fuck watching Reincarnated. But Snoop then says "for the first time I actually feel like I have something to say. not like I never had nothing to say before. it's just this time it's more serious." Something to that effect. and I respect Snoop because he wants to rise outta that gangsta shit that he is just tired of rapping about. He no longer lives that lifestyle, and that sort of music poisons the minds of many young kids. He understands that now, and came to Jamaica to explore reggae and to have a new experience. I respect Snoop for doing that, and I don't even like reggae!

Some of the parts of the movie were funny, when Daz almost lost consciousness when he got high as fuck on the mountain. And snoop sitting in a car talking about "the weed here is organic, from the ground, natural, no THC. You find the right buds, they'll get you high as fuck." Snoop must have been high as a motha fucker cuz the weed "naturally" has THC in it. LMAO!!!

One Rastafarian said in the movie "the herb has a healing factor for both the mind and the body." And actually the Shamans in the Amazon say the same exact thing about ayahuasca, and use the brew in their spiritual hallucinogenic rituals. It's really interesting how various cultures all across the world use plants in healing ceremonies. Yet the government makes these healing plants illegal.

I really enjoyed this documentary. Much respect to Snoop for growing, evolving, and most importantly, CHANGING! 4/5 stars.
