I don't even know how I found this gem. The poetic story, love, war, honor, cowardice... The most epic movie I have seen in 2018, and the greatest Bollywood film I have EVER seen. 5/5 stars...

Blade Runner 2049 was Excellent

I don't watch movies lately, but this movie was pretty amazing. Kept me captivated, to the point where I completely lost myself in the film. This rarely happens, and is why I don't watch movies any longer. It was directed by Denis Villeneuve, same guy who directed Sicario which is another epic film. Really puzzling and hard to get, though. I may rewatch it, if time permits, or simply look up some of its meanings. It is really long, but worth every minute. Blade Runner 2049 made me remember how much I love future Sci-Fi genre.

I will be watching Arrival next. Hopefully, it will live up to the first two.

Ex Machina was good

my god. movies are so bad nowadays. I rarely watch any. but came across Ex Machina after watching Internet Historian latest video. the movie was awesome, and I wish every movie was like this. had me captivated the whole time, when 98% of movies I watch I go ADD. that's not even mentioning all the NWO propaganda that's being pumped into us by Hollywood. I'd say 9/10, because the ending I didn't  particularly like, unless there is a sequel...

Sicario, the Greatest Movie possibly EVER!

this type of films is why I used to watch movies in the first place. too bad most of them are nothing like this today...

Talladega Nights=FUNNY AS HELL!

came across Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby on netflix a few weeks back. make sure make sure you smoke some before watching this. with every single moment in this movie something is happening, and then it gets worse and worse or better and higher and lower. this movie is insane!! it's that funny, and out of control. And this is coming from someone who hates Will Farrell and thinks he is corny and over the top. however, he is very different in this role. not sure if this film is any good while you're sober, though. but I rate this 5/5 when you're not. CLASSIC!!!

the Black Guy ruined the new Star Wars movie

I already know that Hollywood is the devil, spreading lies and propaganda. but can't these diluted fucks get a good actor to play one of the lead roles? the awkwardness and the silliness of this black dude was cringeworthy. I can't say it was THAT bad, but considering this is one of the biggest blockbusters of last and this year, it was pretty bad. I wonder how much he got paid to be an awkward goofball... I'm gonna stop here cuz I don't wanna ruin this for anyone reading that hasn't watched this. but this is why I don't care for movies anymore. I'm tired of all the Hollywood's crap, on top of all their lies they spew.

the female Brit, though, reminds me of me. running away from her fears, refusing to go down the path that calls her. I am still going through that right now. this calling won't stop, until I face my demons.

and I don't know if it's just me, but the 3d element doesn't add much to movies anymore. it's a cool feature, but the last 'wow' factor I experienced in 3d, was the Michael Jackson movie in Disneyland when I was like 15. maybe it's because I was young, or maybe they just don't know how to make good 3d movies anymore. I was feeling really bad when I missed Avatar in 3d when it came out in theaters. but looking back, I probably haven't missed much. ehh.. whatever. fuck Hollywood! Star Wars: The Force Awakens gets a 4/5, and I'm being generous here. This is after I overlook all the silliness and the goofiness the black dude brings. I enjoyed the movie, though. But it isn't anything ground breaking, or earth shattering.

Kumare - MOVIE REVIEW

This is what happens when an American born Indian creates his own religion, and gets followers to follow him and learn his teachings. I am watching this for the second time, and enjoying every minute of it. Kumare shows you how pathetic religion really is, and that as long as there would be people willing to follow and believe you, you could basically always get paid.

"Kumare" created a bunch of rituals, gestures, song phrases, and had his followers believe every word of it thinking it is real. LOL! This movie isn't as funny as Borat, but it could very well be if you understand its premise from the very get go. I'd highly recommend smoking some ganja to this, and laughing along. Remember, as long as you believe your own bullshit, other people would believe it too. It also reminds me that how sensitive we are as people. If you think, visualize, and imagine the purest form of love inside of you emanating onto humanity and the world, others will feel it and gravitate towards you. This I have experienced for myself. Every thought you have towards others, positive or negative, is felt on a subconscious level. Remember that.

The ending was an excellent closure to this film. Kumareeee Kumaareeee Kummaaarreeee... Kumareee u waa eee u waa eeeee!! haha... 4/5 stars.

R'ha - Alienz Vs Machine - Short Film

I've been meaning to post this for quiet sometime. It turned out real nicely. I was wondering what program(s) this guy used to make this project. But it looks good enough to be some sort of a Matrix Sci-Fi mini-movie. Now if I could only make something like this myself...

The Dancing Boys of Afghanistan

I am speechless. But can't say I am surprised. This is what happens when you have Islam rooted within your culture, with laws that enforce burqas on every female. This is what happens when you suppress the most natural element in the universe, human sexuality. Sexually frustrated men who are not even able to see a female form will seek it out elsewhere. In this case, young boys dressed in female clothing. This practice of Bacha bazi is mind boggling. Homosexuality, sex slavery, pedophelia, and murder; all of these things are happening in Afghanistan, of all places.

Some of the parts of the movie brought me back to my childhood. When I saw those mountains towards the end, it reminded me of my country where I was growing up. The mountains looked just like the ones I've visited, since our countries are practically neighbors. I had a memory flash back for a moment to when I almost got abducted. We were at the last bus stop, and I got far enough away from my mom sitting around other people on the benches. As I went around this huge bus, 2 men surrounded me. They blocked the only exit in between buses all around. As I looked at one of the men, he had his eyes on me like I'm his prey. That's when I screamed, and luckily my mom came out and they scattered. I could have been kidnapped, raped, and murdered afterwards. What a crazy world this is. In the places where homophobia is at its peak, and gays get murdered in cold blood, illegal sex trade is still going on, and men with money and power run things like there is no tomorrow.

Get Over It - MOVIE REVIEW

This movie is FUNNY! It starts out with the same sort of humor theme, and continues until the very end. It's about this poor guy that gets dumped by his girlfriend, and things unroll from there.

It's just perfect!

It's not often I see a comedy this good. This movie was excellent overall and very slept on. I remember watching a commercial for it when it came out, but never cared about seeing it. The best part about this movie, is that you'll know right away if you'll like it or not. If you won't like the humor within the first 5 minutes, you won't like the movie at all. But if you do, watch the whole thing and laugh along. 4.5/5 Stars.

Honor Diaries - MOVIE REVIEW

This was not what I expected. The trailer looked so promising, but so many things are left unanswered.

There was this one part where they are discussing female genitalia mutilation. And they say how it is practiced across many African countries. It was one of the sickest things I have seen, and it was really hard to watch. But why do they practice it? Does it have anything to do with Islam? If not, what does it have to do with? What is its origin? The people behind making this documentary needed to do more homework before releasing this film.

Also one thing that I did not understand. There are all these women talking about the cruelties and atrocities that are done in the name of Islam. But... many of them are muslim. One lady is a suni muslim and her husband is a shii. But she is there sitting talking about how cruel it is to live under Islam. Really confused me. What made me even more turned off by this film was this one American muslim woman. I think she even used the word "racist" to describe people who dislike Islam. WTF!? Why do muslims do this? But what really put me off is that she is here discussing about these issues of women getting forced to wear burkas, hijabs, niqabs, and this bitch is wearing a hijab herself VOLUNTARILY talking about "what Islam means to me", describing all the good things.

Seemed to me that half these women were clueless on the root of the problem that surrounds the issues they are trying to tackle. On one hand, they complain about the mistreatment of women in Islam, but on the other, they are muslim. That's like complaining about Nazis mistreating Jews, while being a Nazi. I don't get it, and neither do they on what they are doing, at least long term. Talking about these issues is one thing, but tackling them while not realizing that the problem lies within the religion you follow is like not seeing forest for the trees.

2/5 stars. If you've already seen the trailer, you're not missing much.

The Children of Times Square - MOVIE REVIEW

Classic New York City flick. I read that it was made for television, but I still thoroughly enjoyed this movie. If you love old school New York films about the streets, violence, and drugs back in the 70s and 80s, this would be a good movie to watch. I even enjoyed the heck out of the music, and that is saying a lot considering this wasn't even out in theaters. The only thing I kept thinking about was "was there really white kids running in the streets back in those times, befriending blacks and Puerto Ricans like that?" Other than that... it was pretty good. 4/5 Stars.

Supernatural Activity - MOVIE REVIEW

Funniest movie I have seen this year so far. I can't believe I found this gem. Demon hunters are out to find "Supernatural Activity". This movie is perfect to smoke some weed to, and laugh along. I watched 35 minutes of it so far, and have been LMFAO the whole time. Scene jumps from one thing to another, like brain farting in cinema. Hard to explain; you have to watch this to get it.

There is this one part where they are sitting around the table trying to summon a demon, and when Damon, the main character, starts to act out like a demon is speaking through him, I was laughing out loud hysterically. I haven't laughed that loud watching a comedy in a good minute.

But yeah, this is definetely a great comedy. One of the best comedies I have seen. 5/5 Stars!

The Don's Analyst - MOVIE REVIEW

I cannot believe I did not review this movie. This was single handedly the funniest Mafia movie I have EVER seen. Before the corny ass Analyze This, this was the ORIGINAL! Yet most people don't even know it exists! I had more fun watching the first 9 minutes of this film, than I watch 95% of comedy movies today. And that says a lot how much movies suck nowadays. This is why sometimes I force myself to watch them or simply give them 20 minutes before dismissing the whole movie, not wanting to waste my time in which I could be doing something else.

5/5 stars. MUST SEE!

Dredd, and Stardust=Great Movies

especially Dredd. that movie was fucking bad ass!!! action packed like no other I've seen in a while. smoking some weed to it makes it trippy especially with those slow mo scenes where people shoot up drugs. DAMN this movie was good. reminded me of Burn Notice, which I stopped watching after Season 2 cuz of annoying ass Fiona ruining the whole show for me.

My favorite part was this psychic Judge that has her first training day with Dredd, and come to think of it... this was like Training Day in a way. But it was more of a Sci-Fi future film. LOVED this movie!

anyway...

Stardust is more of a fantasy film, which was good - 4/5 stars

Dredd is more of an action pack, go in, come out dead or alive, live in the moment film - 5/5 stars!

The Interview is FUNNY AS HELL!!!

So because of all the hype and the North Korean government hacking the US, I was just thinking about watching this movie and then BAM it's on netflix. I don't know if it was because I was smoking some herb, but this movie was THE funniest movie I have seen in 2015 and possibly the entire 2014.

Didn't even know that Eminem was in it. As much as I can't stand him, the scene he was in was actually one of the funniest ones.

The entire movie, the president, the reporters, the script, the ending, etc.. I was LMFAO the entire time. It's not often I come across good movies, but this was definitely one of them.

5/5 stars!

Zug Zug Origin

so, I'm watching this movie "Caveman" with Ringo Starr. and they have this scene where 2 different caveman tribes meet for the first time (around at 40 mins in). one speaks English, and the other tribe speaks cave language. 2 men from the caveman language tribe are holding hands. later on the leader from the same tribe goes "Lunda"; I think it was a name of a woman he liked? not sure. and the english speaking guy goes "love" while the caveman leader stares at him with a happy face. the other dude goes "alright... zug zug". this is funny because I first heard the word zug zug in original warcraft games. I don't remember if it was in Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness, or Warcraft 1: Orcs and Humans.

So I google searched the "origin of zug zug" and came to battle.net World of Warcraft forums. one guy there said that the origin did point to the Caveman movie, but it was "sex". But the origin of zug zug is actually LOVE and not sex, haha! I remember playing Warcraft games and hearing Orc NPCs say "Zug Zug" every other time you clicked on them. Zug Zug eventually carried over to WoW, and that's where most people heard it from.

Caveman is entertaining and funny in its own way too. Worth checking out. Half way through it right now. Things aren't too different nowadays. Alpha man running the show, while all the betas sitting on the sidelines scheming on the master plan how to get the girl and trick the alpha. I know it's all about being more social now, but just saying. These were out ancestors.

ZUG ZUG!

p.s. so after watching the movie a little further, apparently that guy is the only guy in the tribe that speaks English. I bet this movie is good to watch after smoking some weed...

Mr. Nobody MOVIE REVIEW

So this movie was a little different than what I expected from watching the trailer...





I could relate to the trailer, as I am a 35 year old man who has NEVER lived his life. I sort just existed from birth. I exist like a leaf falling from a tree in no particular direction, letting the wind decide my fate. This was one of the biggest reasons why I've been meaning to watch this film. Even all of my friends I've had; they made friends with me, and not the other way around. It's hard making friends, and invite people into your life, when you don't have much of a life of your own. But I digress.

In the end, this movie is all about alternate realities, and choices that we make. Each choice decides our future. If we make one choice, our life turns out one way. And visa versa. I always wondered how my life would turn out if our family went to Philadelphia, which was a big chance when we were coming to America. Instead, we came to California.

This movie gets you thinking, and could get confusing at times because it deals with time, future, present, past, as well as going backwards.

I enjoyed Mr Nobody. A solid 4/5 stars.

The Diary of Anne Frank MOVIE REVIEW

As I found out there are many version under this title. The one I watched if the 2009 version. Trailer is at the bottom.

Wow, I didn't expect this. This movie hit home for me. I want to talk about something. I want to talk about who you are; you as a person. What makes you you? Why are you the way you are? Where do you get your fears from? Your limitations? Your dreams, goals? What is freedom? Is it something that is physical that's confined in the physical world? Like not being in prison, does that equal to being totally free to you? I am asking this because when I started watching The Diary of Anne Frank, at first it was just another World War II movie for me. And the thing is, I am Jewish, and my ancestors were from Europe who went through War, and have escaped the Nazis.

So as I am watching this movie, there is this part that comes up where Anne and her family fled their home and end up in Amsterdam, I think. They end up in a hide out house of some friends. So in this one scene, Anne says the following words, "I feel so strange being so close the outside world". Something to that extent. The way I understood it, was that Anne is either feels shut off or so close to the outside world, yet she can't join it. She looks outside the windows and watches life passes her by, but she can't leave her building. Because if she does, she will be arrested, and eventually killed. Right there, it hit me; I AM LIVING THIS LIFE!!!!!!! I am the one who is home almost my entire life looking outside my window observing life passes it by. I am the one afraid to go outside because 'terrible things may happen'. I kind of always wondered where all these weird fears I have come from, considering I have PTSD.

Well, if there is anything I learned about myself and this 'you' I am speaking of, it comes down to several things. One of these 'yous' that is eternally part of you, is from your past lives. All of the lives you have lived are part of and will always be this 'you'. These other 'yous' that you've lived help you and make your next incarnation easier to navigate, as you gain more experience. The other part of 'you', is your ancestry. This means that all of the ancestors that have lived before you, are inside of you, whether you want to admit to it or not. All of the traumas, hurts, pains, dreams, fears, joys, etc.. are there inside of your DNA. I had a friend once who told me, "if you want to know about yourself, learn your own history." He was totally right.

And there is this other part where the single doctor joins the family in the hiding, and he says at some point "I can't just sit here all day." And that's exactly what I have been doing, sitting in my room nearly all day! I spent the entire weekend at home, considering it was hot as hell! I didn't even go to the beach! And it was the hottest day of the year. I have been living this way damn near all my life! And no one understands me. Shrinks just think I just 'need to get there'. Other shrinks I had thought I was all good once I started talking to girls, when in reality I was still hiding in my room. No one until this very day understands me, and why I am the way I am. They all think I am 'weird.'

The only thing I can say is that, if you want to know about who you are, learn about your history. Things will be very clear if you dig deep. And I am someone who always distanced myself from my heritage because I've been around Jews who were overly proud and annoying. I don't like labels, so I am not the type of person who'd talk about my heritage every 5 minutes. But some people can't shut up about their background. And half the time you're around them, they'll spend talking about how they are Italian, what's Italy like, how Italian women are like. My god... I can only take so much of that, regardless of your background. Knowing your history and your people is one thing, but being obsessed with it thinking it's the only thing in this universe is down right irritating.

I give this movie 3.5/5 stars. I enjoyed it, the movie even made me look up Anne's story, and I even learned something about myself. There could be better versions out there, though. I don't know. I haven't looked.

Heartbreakers MOVIE REVIEW

This movie is FUNNY AS HELL, and has everything in it a comedy should-a great sense of humor,  amazing actors (I actually think Jennifer Love Hewitt is hot, and I didn't before. and can you say Gene Hackman?), love, and most of all.... FUN!!!!!!!

If you love con artist movies, witty humor, and movies that keep you guessing, see this film!!!
